Stemme Canopies provide reliable UVA filter

We are pleased to announce that the UVA transmittance of the S10 and S12 canopies were successfully tested by M7. Out of the 73 aircraft tested, 45 windscreens removed 100% of the UVA light, including our Stemme models. M7 Labs, the technical arm of the speciality optics manufacturer Method Seven, reacted to the great need for information of protection from exposure to UVA light.

Long distance flight

Klaus Ohlmann and Thomas Horz have done it again. The international soaring scene can rely on these two pilots and their gliding adventures – at anytime. Even at the end of the year, they steered a Stemme S10, focusing on the horizon – hour after hour. Together they accomplished the longest gliding distance of the year 2016.
